Our History
LuerChem LLC, Geneva (Switzerland), was incorporated in January 2003 by our founder and owner Udo Benesch, a veteran of the European Chemical Industry, who held a series of Senior Management positions during his 30 year-long career with Union Carbide (UCC) / Dow Chemical Corporations.
At the founding of our company, a team of experienced and highly respected Marketing & Sales executives was already in place, most of them being of UCC/Dow and/or BP heritage. Very soon after the incorporation of our Swiss Headquarters, wholly owned subsidiaries were also established in Warsaw (PL) and Cairo (EG), with additional Sales Offices in Prague, Vienna, Casablanca, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Johannesburg and a Logistics/Operations Office in Antwerp.
We are a European player but our main territorial focus is on Eastern Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa.
Our Business Model
LuerChem is a Service Company offering its Principals first class local customer contact, services and know-how. We act as the prolonged sales arm of our Principals, be it as the contractual Agent/Representative or as a designated Reseller.
Our typical work and expertise ranges from market assessments & analysis to professional product introduction / sales / supply chain work / customer service / follow-up / collection and after-sales work.
We take great pride in the excellent business relationships we have built over the years with customers and principals alike and we work to improve and strengthen these relationships and market positions.
Our Ethics
We work with highly regarded top-tier Principals only, in a transparent manner and always ensure that there are no overlapping or competing product lines. We are constantly on the lookout for new product lines which complement our existing product portfolio to the benefit of both our customers and Principals.
We endorse the Ethics Guidelines of all of our Principals and adhere at all times to local/national as well as international laws and regulations in this respect.
The entire LuerChem Team, be it in Management / Sales / Customer Service / Logistics and Operations / IT systems and platforms, strives for continuous improvement, to continue to meet/exceed the ever-increasing expectations of our customers and Principals.
Our Journey
LuerChem has grown substantially over the last 15 years and our annual sales now exceed the 120 KT / € 100 million mark and we are determined to double our footprint within the next 5 years.
A Senior Management Team along with succession plans are in place and a series of initiatives for attracting new Principals are under way. We continue to grow with our existing and new Principals, enabling us to meet our ambitions and goals.
